Come with us to enjoy Tarpon Springs most popular boat ride. A leisurely 2-hour cruise down the Anclote River into the Gulf of Mexico. The captain will narrate, and you will learn about the history of Tarpon Springs and the famous Sponge Docks. The Dolphin Adventure Island Cruise includes looking for Dolphin, manatee, sea turtles, fish, tropical foliage, and other local wildlife. You will also see the restored and operational Historic Anclote Lighthouse located on the Anclote Island. We will land on the Island where you can get an up-close view of the lighthouse, stroll the beach, and look for shells.

After the cruise have lunch at a restaurant of your choice and shop the unique stores of Tarpon Springs.

7:45 am - Depart Lake Sumter Landing (1045 Old Mill Run)

8:05 am- Depart Brownwood - behind the Brownwood Hotel and The Center for Advanced Healthcare (click here for map)

10:30 am - Cruise (2 hours)

12:30 pm – Lunch/ Time on your own

3:15 pm- Depart Tarpon Springs

5:15 pm- Approximate arrival back in The Villages
