Kick off the Holiday season at Light Up Mount Dora! The City comes alive when they turn the Christmas lights on. Down at Elizabeth Evans Park there will be food vendors, entertainment, and fireworks. After the festivities at Elizabeth Evans Park, head up to the Christmas Tree near Sunset Park to get free pictures with Santa. Snack vendors and free pictures with Santa at the tree will be 6-9pm.

If you would like to have dinner at a restaurant in Mount Dora, we suggest making a reservation, as it is expected to be a busy evening.

This event takes place on pavement that may be un-even at times. The amount of walking will be up to you.

Itinerary:

3:00 pm-Depart Brownwood - behind the Brownwood Hotel and The Center for Advanced Healthcare (click here for map)

3:20 pm- Depart Lake Sumter Landing (1045 Old Mill Run)

Time on your own to dine, shop, walk around downtown Mount Dora and enjoy all of the festivities.

8:30 pm- Depart Mount Dora

9:30 pm- Approximate arrival time back in The Villages

Price includes transportation and bus driver tip. Purchase is non-refundable but is transferrable to another person. Host gratuity is not included.
